Severus Snape is such a great example. No pun intended, I enjoyed the twist in Twisters. They really play into anchoring bias, what you said, "whatever comes first, sticks in their brains." Without spoilers, two different groups are presented at first from one angle, and as the story progresses, the angle changes. You (I) feel this satisfaction and ah! you got me feeling in a good way. Yep, I totally misjudged them, I was wrong and see how I was quick to assume, because that's what the writers wanted me to feel! So good.
